Common Questions.

Q. How long will it take me to learn to drive?

A. It is impossible to say until you have demonstrated your skills to us. Let us suggest that you have never driven before and are beginning your lessons today for the very first time. A useful guide line would be to take at least one to one and a half professional driving lessons for every year of your age and this will give you some idea.

Q. What are the advantages of an intensive driving course?

A. You will have the advantage of mastering new skills more efficiently and save both time and money in learning to drive.

Q. Is it O.K. to practice on my own?

A. Provided you are supervised by someone over the age of 21 who holds a full licence for the same type of vehicle you will be driving and they have at least 3 years clean driving experience, then that is fine. However we would suggest that you first develop your skills to the point whereby you can safely emerge from junctions and negotiate roundabouts successfully without too much prompting. Remember your supervisor may not have the benefit of dual controls to keep you safe.

Q. Will it be all right to pay for my lessons next week?

A. No unless agreed in advance with your instructor. It will save you money by paying in advance.

Q. Can I pay for my lessons by credit card?

A. Yes we accept all major credit cards and if you pay for a full course in advance you will receive some free tuition during your course and a discount on the lesson price.

Q. What is the benefit of taking a 'Pass Plus' course?

A. The benefits are enormous as you will gain valuable on-road experience on all types of road including driving on motorways. You will also learn about night driving and poor weather driving. Pass Plus is recognised by the Government, Insurance Companies and the Driver Training Industry that is why on completion of a Pass Plus course you may be entitled to a substantial reduction in you motor insurance premium and this more than covers the cost of your course.
